Welcome to Raphael Greenberg Photography
Raphael Greenberg is a happy transplant from Los Angeles, California, who relocated to the Bay Area in 1977, and currently resides in Emeryville, California. His photography journey started as a child taking photographs while on family vacations in Carmel. He is primarily self-taught, but has taken several courses at UCSF Extension, Laney College in Oakland, and is currently enrolled in the City College of San Francisco’s Digital Photography certification program. Since 2019, his images have been exhibited at the Emeryville Arts Exhibition. In October 2021, he completed a photo-shoot at SFMOMA where he created images at a CCSF workshop for students with Emory Douglas, former Minister of Culture and Revolutionary Artist for the Black Panther Party.
Raphael’s primary subject matter includes architecture, ocean and nature scenes created while on foreign travel, and other venues around the Bay Area and beyond in California. Since 2020, he has focused on infrared architecture and natural landscape images created locally.
