Welcome to Raphael Greenberg Photography
Raphael Greenberg is a Los Angeles native who relocated to the Bay Area in 1977 and now lives in Emeryville, California. His interest in photography began in childhood on family trips to Carmel. Though primarily self-taught, he has also studied through UCSF Extension, Laney College, and the City College of San Francisco’s Digital Photography certificate program. His work has been exhibited at the Emeryville Arts Exhibition since 2019. In 2021, he was hired to photograph a CCSF workshop at SFMOMA featuring Emory Douglas, former Minister of Culture and Revolutionary Artist for the Black Panther Party. In 2024, he sold his first photograph at the Emeryville Arts Exhibition, Man in Thought.
Raphael photographs architecture, ocean and nature scenes, and images made during international travel and throughout California. Since 2020, much of his work has centered on infrared architecture and landscape photography created locally. In 2024, he returned to digital color with his Iceland images.
